Holiday Cards & Gifts Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the Holiday Cards & Gifts Blog Hop!! It's so great to have you joining us today for such a fantastic hop. I am stop number 12 on our hop. So if you have just joined us you'll want to go back to the beginning so you don't miss any of the wonderful holiday ideas and blog candy. The beginning link starts over at Jamie's place. Glitter, Stamps, and Paper, Oh My

The holiday project I have to share with you today are these adorable Reindeer Food Jars. Perfect as a gift for the little ones on Christmas Eve. They are filled with oatmeal oats and glitter. So the mix is sparkley. Just what's needed to attract Santa's reindeer straight to your house! There is a cute poem that goes inside the jar that reads:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home.

Here is the link to print the poem with a reindeer graphic.
Reindeer Poem

For my jars I used some SU Christmas paper around the jar, SU cardstock on the lid, ribbon from my stash around the lid, Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge for the reindeer, red stickles for the reindeer's nose, SU scallop oval punch for the title, SU dimentionals to pop the title up. This is such a fun and simple gift to make. They also sell great at craft fairs.

I am offering up some blog candy for our hop today. To enter to win the above items all you have to do is become a FOLLOWER of my blog and post a COMMENT to this post answering the following question: What is your favorite holiday movie? I will post the winner of my candy Monday morning 12/13. This will allow anyone coming in over the weekend a chance to win. So be sure to save me to your favorites and check back to see if you've won!

Thanks for joining the fun today!

When I design custom invitations, I offer to design custom postage for my clients to complete the look of their invitation package. The party starts when the guests open their invitations, so setting the tone of the party with the invitation is important. But even before the envelope is opened, the first impression the guest has of the invitation is what’s on the outside.
