Hi, I thought today I would share my scrap studio with all of you. A friend of mine brought the subject up and it reminded me of the journey it took to get it all done. So ... here are the before, during, and after pictures. My studio is in our basement. My husband built it for me all by himself. I will update these photos as things change.
This is what the space looked like. My hubby had to stud the walls, insulate, drywall, tape, and mud.
Next came the grid, ceiling, lighting, and paint. Whoo Hoo much better than the dining room table! LOL

I'm in the process now! Seems slow comming along but seeing your room helps. I will finish the project. I do need storage space so bad. In the pic you have a white storage unit. Where did you get that? I really like it. I'm finding out the storage can get exspensive but I'm going to have a scrappin room! Congrats on yours!! bamagurly07 or JoAnn

WOW!!! What a great room! I wish I had one of those! My boy is a carpenter, so now I know what to wish for this christmas *LOL*
I am so envious of your fantastic craft studio, I have a little spare room but its nowhere as organised as your studio. I will have to get sorted out pretty fast so I can get more creative.

I love your idea for paper storage! I have looked at this page before and I'm not sure why I came back today. It must have been to get the great idea to store my paper! I did not see that the first time. I'm still working on mine, I hope to have it finished in about a month.

OMG! I am just a tad jealous!!! I've just been explaining your paper storgae shelves to my hubby. Do you think he'll take the hint??!!!! My crafting has moved about a lot. I started on the kitchen table, then my knee in the front room, then a mini desk in the front room, then I moved into the bathroom....crazy?! - we live in a static caravan so space we don't have much of & we have a separate toilet & shower room so I utilised the un used bathroom for a while. Then hubby let me move into his workshop upstairs, but because of my CFS/ME & the cold weather etc I've had to move back into the caravan & now I'm in the bedroom!!!! - some pics on my blog under WOYWDW ...sorry for rambling! x
